IMSS

The IMSS lens is computer controlled to scan a wavelength range incrementally and the camera it is opticly connected to can provide a video output which can be stored as discrete wavelength images on a computer for later analysis in provided software to identify specific gases present and the gas quantity in ppm. The IMSS lens was developed and patented by Pacific Advanced Technology.

The IMSS lens for Infrared, Visible or Ultraviolet by Gas Imaging Technology is the technology leading to the family of Sherlock cameras including the Sherlock VOC (Volatile Organic Chemicals) that can image more then 40 gases and the Sherlock FE which has been imaging flare stack gases for over 10 years. The Sherlock cameras are a commercialization by Gas Imaging Technology of the parent company Pacific Advanced Technology which developed and patented the IMSS lens for all camera types, the IMSS was developed in cooperation with government and business to be able to instantly image and identify plumes and other applications.
